Studio Brief 1,Design Process, Inital Ideas

When researching for this brief, I realised the designs are very appropriate for their target audience. I never noticed before this but they are specially designed for certain genders, or types of people etc.
Using the idea of picking a target audience it helped me think of some ideas.

However, I've really struggled trying to think a good concept for this brief. For the crit, I had a couple of weak ones and maybe one strong idea, the crit really helped me decide what I could do and how I could do it.

I tried to really think about target audience, what the events people go through are,  they would put in a photo frame.
New life events, places, people etc

When I thought about target audience I separated it into men and women, and a lot of the time it was all about new things happening in their lives, which are worthy enough to put in a photo frame.
A few of my first ideas I didn't really follow up on like, targeting divorced women. I thought about playing on the idea of 'sling your hook' and 'new man goes here', I didn't think that was a very strong idea and had no real commitment to it.

Three concepts.

Concept 1, Life Events.
I want to show women a life event that all ages can relate to
- Young girl and new friends
- Older lady and new baby
-Older lasy and grankids
I was thinking of layering images to show the progression or using images to show these events

Concept 2, Maps
I want to use maps to show where people have been in their life
-The 8x6 would be the british isles because its the largest size and shows the largest image
- The 7x5 would be zooming into a region and the measurement be made of the road lines
-The 6x4 would be the shop that the frame is being sold in

Concept 3, Using lines
I wanted to show the dimensions of the measurements with lines, this is probably my weakest idea because I don't know where to go with it, especially with the concept.
