Theory into Practice Research

I knew I wanted to make my publication have a close link with the essay. One way of doing this was to concentrate on a topic I hadn't really known a lot beforehand.

I chose to go with Constructivism, which was an art movement in Russia in the 20's, coming from the revolution. It's a really interesting topic to research because it was hugely influential in the design world as well as other areas. 

For the publication it self I was thinking of making a book about all the main players in the movement and showing the art work to go with it. I thought this was quite a simple idea. Aimee showed me Bournemouth Uni prospectus 2013, which was like build a book.

I really like this design, I like the interactiveness of it and I think it makes the reader take note of the information a lot  more than a normal book. I think this would really work well for the constructivist idealism as well, because it affected architecture, so by giving information in a 'build a book' way it relates and reinforces the context and topic of Constructivism.
